The OPUS KLASSIK weekend will feature ...

Pianists Lang Lang and his wife Gina Alice, cellist Gautier Capuçon, and ‘Young Artist of the Year’ Anastasia Kobekina will perform at the OPUS KLASSIK Gala at Konzerthaus Berlin on 13 October 2024. Tickets for the gala are here available.

On 12 October 2024, the OPUS KLASSIK concert will take place at the Kühlhaus Berlin with Shirley Brill (clarinet), Avi Avital (Mandoline), Anastasia Kobekina (cello) and Alexandra Stréliski (piano). Tickets can be purchased here erwerben.

Lang Lang, Anna Prohaska, Gautier Capuçon, Anastasia Kobekina, Klaus Mäkelä, Liza Lim, Konstantin Krimmel and many more are winners of OPUS KLASSIK 2024!

Anna Prohaska is particularly pleased about her award as Female Singer of the Year for the joint project "Maria Mater Meretrix": "This shows that it's worth believing in a concept, digging through lesser-known repertoire and fighting for its realisation."

Tickets for the OPUS KLASSIK concert and award ceremony on 12 October at 7.30 pm at Kühlhaus Berlin are available here

Tickets for the OPUS KLASSIK Gala on 13 October at 4 pm at the Konzerthaus Berlin can be purchased here The evening will be hosted by Désirée Nosbusch and the Konzerthausorchester Berlin will be conducted by Kevin John Edusei.

The exact programme of the OPUS KLASSIK weekend with a selection of the winners of the OPUS KLASSIK 2024 will be announced shortly.

The 2024 shortlist has been published

For the first time, the OPUS KLASSIK jury not only selects the winners of the year, but also nominates a shortlist. "The introduction of the shortlist is an important step towards highlighting the outstanding achievements and diversity of the OPUS KLASSIK even more clearly," says jury spokesperson Michael Becker (Tonhalle Düsseldorf).

OPUS KLASSIK School: student jury wanted

With the OPUS KLASSIK School, pupils from all over Germany can award their own prize in the category Videoclip of the year. Videoclip des Jahres From May 21 to July 8, the young people will vote digitally and present the award themselves on October 12. OPUS KLASSIK 2024 submissions until March 31

Concerts, artists and young talent/sustainability projects can be submitted for the OPUS KLASSIK 2024 until March 31. All information on the categories and submission guidelines can be found on our homepage here.

An innovation this year: at the end of May, a Shortlist selected by the independent OPUS KLASSIK jury from all the projects submitted will be published for the first time.
