About the award
The OPUS KLASSIK is the most important award for classical music in Germany and is awarded by Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Klassischen Musik gemeinnützige GmbH A jury of eleven experts from the music and media industry selects the winners in 30 categories.
Applications for the OPUS KLASSIK 2025 can be submitted from 31 January to 31 March 2025. The jury will then nominate a shortlist from which the 2025 winners will be selected. The announcement will be made in summer 2025. The OPUS KLASSIK 2025 will be awarded on the weekend of 10-12 October 2024 in Berlin.
