Shortlist 2024
This year, the OPUS KLASSIK jury selected a shortlist for the first time. "The broad participation and impressive quality of the submissions for the OPUS KLASSIK 2024 clearly underline the passion and creativity that prevail in the German classical music scene. Each entry reflects the commitment and artistic ambition that exists in this vibrant and dynamic community," emphasizes jury spokesperson Kerstin Schüssler-Bach (Boosey & Hawkes).
You can find an overview of the nominated projects as a PDF here. The categories 06 - Award for the life's work of an artist and 26 - Bestseller of the Year are excluded from the shortlist. Category 27 - Innovation Award for Sustainability is awarded in cooperation with the Orchester des Wandels.
