OPUS KLASSIK SCHOOL

Since 2023, OPUS KLASSIK School has allowed pupils to be part of the jury and award an additional prize - over 400 pupils took part in OPUS KLASSIK School in 2024 and chose mezzo-soprano Hera Hyesang Park with her video While you live as their winner.

Students choose the winner of the OPUS KLASSIK School Prize online from a shortlist of submissions in the “Video Clip of the Year” category. Another highlight: the students between the ages of 15 and 19 can present the award themselves at the OPUS KLASSIK concert!

In this way, the OPUS KLASSIK underlines its claim to make classical music accessible and tangible for the younger generation. The OPUS KLASSIK School project is carried out in cooperation with Rhapsody in School - an initiative that arranges visits to schools by classical and jazz musicians to inspire more young people to take an interest in music.
